Anchorage police seek help locating teen last seen Thursday

Anchorage police are asking the public for help finding a 16-year-old last seen Thursday.
Anthony Herring was last seen leaving his Muldoon home Thursday afternoon, according to a statement from Anchorage Police Department spokesperson Jennifer Castro.
“There is concern for his well-being,” Castro wrote.
Police describe Herring as 5-foot-11 and 160 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black hoodie, jeans and a black backpack when he was last seen.
APD asks anyone with information on Herring’s whereabouts to contact them at 786-8900 and press “0” to talk to a dispatcher.
