Bearcats grappling for national recognition

Posted On:
Notre Dame... Football. Duke and UNC... Basketball. Johns Hopkins and Syracuse... Lacrosse. Binghamton University... Wrestling? Some schools are synonymous with certain sports and Head Coach Matt Dernlan hopes to make that the case for BU and wrestling. Once again, the Bearcats are sending a pair of grapplers to the NCAA Tournament in St. Louis with a chance to make an impact on the biggest scale.

Senior Heavyweight Tyler Deuel is seeded 13th in the NCAAs and junior Jack McKeever, 184 lbs, is unseeded. No Bearcat has finished higher than 3rd in the NCAA tournament, but both are hoping to change that.

The road to national recognition is a long one, but the Bearcats are headed in the right direction.
