Johnson City Man Faces Burglary Charges

A Johnson City man is facing burglary charges after police say he broke in to an apartment in his building on Park Street, stole a television set and then sold it to another tenant in the building.

Officers searched the complex and located the television and arrested 32-year-old David Hopkins. He's been charged with burglary and criminal possession of stolen property.

He was arraigned in the town of union court and is being held in the Broome County jail.
