Binghamton Women's Basketball team fighting until the very end

The Binghamton women's basketball lost 70-56 to first place maine yesterday. The bearcats fell into a 10-0 hole early deficit but fought back in the second half scoring 37 points and staying with the Black Bears until the final whistle.

Now the big story line after the game was Kim Albrecht. The Junior guard only played 9 minutes and left the game in the second half with dizziness. With the lack of depth this season, Coach Cimino still wants her players to be healthy and not push the envelope.

"At halftime I was told she felt dizzy and then I took it upon myself to shut her down. With the trainer we talked and we shut her down in the second half so we are hoping that we can get her back for next week. We need Kim. Without Kim, we will struggle," said Linda Cimino.

"I think we just have to build off of our previous games and we finish off so well and we have to keep building off of that and I think our energy level and communication needs to get better. We have to get each other going from the start and I think we just have to build off of that" said Jasmine Sina.

The Bearcats are at home this week as they have Senior Night at the Events Center with Stony Brook Coming to town for a 7 pm game.
