Bearcats softball forced to train indoors

Softball is a spring sport, yet every year schools in the northeast have to begin practicing with snow still covering the diamond. The Bearcats season begins on Friday, luckily in Georgia. However, the Bearcats have only been able to get outside to shag fly balls once this preseason. There's only so much that a team can do inside to prepare for the season, but for better or worse, head coach Michelle Burrell says that by now, they're used to it.
BU plays Boston College at noon and Georgia Southern at 4:00 on Friday as part of the Georgia Southern Tournament.
