As Tommy Dempsey will tell you, losing is never fun, but he will add that it can be encouraging. As the BU Bearcats have struggled on the court this year, their most recent loss, a seven point home loss to Stony Brook, proved to Dempsey that better things are ahead. Stony Brook is typically one of the stronger programs in the conference, and for a young BU team to push the Sea Wolves for 40 minutes is a great feat for one of the youngest teams in the country and the reason why Dempsey is keeping a positive mindset for the road ahead.

The Bearcats take on UMBC Wednesday night at 7:00.
