A Kirkwood man is facing felony DWI charges.


State Police say 52 year old Gerald Hanyon was drunk while driving on State Route 11 in Kirkwood around 1:15 Wednesday morning.


Authorities say Hanyon struck the center guide rail several times and then destroyed a No-U-Turn sign. His vehicle then came to rest on the guide rail with his two front tires off the ground. Hanyon has a prior DWI conviction within the last ten years. He was arraigned in the Town of Kirkwood court and released.
