Broome County Breaks Ground on Year-Round Farmer's Market

A new market for fresh produce is coming to our area. Broome County officially broke ground on it's first year-round Farmer's Market behind the Cornell Cooperative Extension on Upper Front Street in the Town of Dickinson.

Construction will continue throughout the winter and the market is expected to open during the late summer of 2016. There will be a commercial kitchen within the market to allow farmers to test and create products. These products will be produced, marketed, and sold throughout the region.

There are seven seasonal farmer's markets in Broome County at the following locations: downtown Binghamton, Deposit, Endicott Visitors Center, Highland Park, Otsiningo Park, Vestal, and Windsor.
