A Windsor man is facing charges after authorities say he was in possession of heroine and other drug paraphernalia.


The Broome County Sheriff's Office Highway Patrol assisted the Broome County Task Force in a narcotics search on Frost Road in the Town of Windsor Friday night. Units found 42-year-old James Kennerup was in possession of 70 bags of heroine, four bags of methamphetamine, and 78 suboxone strips all packaged for sale.


Task Force Investigators also found a digital scale used to weigh narcotics, and approximately $7,700.


Kennerup was arraigned in the Town of Chenango County Court and Remanded to the Broome County Jail without bail.
