In honor of Thanksgiving this week, Workforce Wednesday showcased employers and let them spread their messages of gratitude.
Cari-Ann Carty with Alaska Process Industry Careers Consortium (APICC) was thankful for working with a fantastic and supportive team.
From big to small, business owners expressed their thanks.
“I am personally am extra thankful for our staff,” said Rachel Pennington with Fire Island Rustic Bakery. She added that she was thankful for the customers choosing to visit her small family-owned bakery.
Others were thankful for their staff, too.
“I am very thankful for our employees, they do a lot around here and probably don’t get thanked enough,” said Jim Letts of Sheet Metal, Inc.
Neil Fried, an economist with the Alaska Department of Labor, said he’s thankful for his job and added it’s the best he’s ever had.
James Gaddis, one of KTVA 11’s Daybreak anchors, said he was thankful for to have the partnership with APICC and all the good that Workforce Wednesday has done for Alaska.
