Three teens are accused of spray painting a New Windsor overpass, then battling police officers who tried to bust them.

Authorities say an off-duty trooper called New Windsor police after seeing the suspects vandalizing the Forge Hill overpass Sunday. Police say the teens didn't surrender quietly.

Bryant Tamayo, 19, allegedly tried to grab a police sergeant, but was taken down. Authorities say 18-year-old Jose Muniz also attempted to punch the sergeant and spray him in the face, but missed. Muniz then allegedly ran away, but was caught. Cops also caught 18-year-old Patrick O'Hare.

The men face charges of felony criminal mischief and misdemeanor graffiti charges. Muniz and Tamayo also face attempted assault and resisting arrest charges.

The trio is due back in court June 12.
