2nd Arrest In Parade Day Pedestrian Accident

A second arrest in a Parade Day car accident which left a pedestrian without part of her leg.

On the night of March 7th just after 10 o'clock police say Nutanie Saysanavong of Johnson City was driving a car which drove onto a sidewalk and pinned a pedestrian on the stone railing of the Court Street Bridge. She has been charged with driving while intoxicated.

But Binghamton Police have now also arrested 25-year-old Duane Felton Jr. of Binghamton. they say he grabbed a hold of the steering wheel, turned it, and caused the car to veer sharply onto the sidewalk into walking pedestrians. Felton Jr. is charged with assault in the first degree and is in city lockup awaiting arraignment. the victim later had part of her leg surgically removed.
