Man is Killed in Accident at Construction Company

One man is killed in a accident at a construction company in the Town of Binghamton

According to New York State Police 42-year-old Eric Willes from Nineveh died Tuesday morning when he was backing an excavator out of a building.
Police received a call around 7:10 am about a heavy machinery accident at FAHS Construction Group on Pierce Creek Road in the Town of Binghamton. Police say no other vehicles or employees were involved.

"The FAHS Construction Group Family is committed to the safety of all our employees. We are deeply saddened by this terrible accident. The investigation into this tragedy is ongoing and we will release information as it becomes available to us," said Richard J. Gangemi, President and Chief Operating Officer at FAHS Construction Group.

Willes' body was taken to Wilson Hospital for an autopsy. The investigation is continuing.
