Two Arrested in Connection with Owego McDonald's Robbery

Two people are facing charges after police say they were the suspects of a Mcdonald's robbery.

New York State police arrested Alan Rynat, 32 and Robyn Kipp, 37, both of Owego.

Police say Kipp and Rynat were involved in a gunpoint robbery at the McDonald's in Owego this past Tuesday.

According to police reports the suspect forced the employees into the freezer then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The investigation revealed a conspiracy between a restaurant employee and the male suspect.

Both Kipp and Rynat were arraigned before Owego Town Justice Patrick Hogan and remanded to the Tioga County Jail pending grand Jury action.
