There are seven women's lacrosse teams in the America East. Out of those seven, the BU Bearcats are projected to finish 6th by the preseason poll. After going 7-9 a year ago, the Bearcats are a young team with just 4 seniors and six juniors. On the bright side though, they return their top four scorers, so things don't look so bleak.


The Bearcats open their season on Saturday as they travel to Ohio to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes (indoors). A win would be nice, hanging tight would be acceptable, but a hard fought game to prove they're better than 6th place is a good place to start.
