Family Holds Charity Blood Drive for Bob Scott

The family of a longtime blood donor is continuing their loved one's wish.
Our Lady of Good Council Church and the American Red Cross hosted a blood drive open to the public in honor of Bob Scott -- a blood donor who passed away from cancer in 1998.
More than 50 donors showed their support today.
Scott's family says blood donating was a large part of his life and they feel its crucial to continue his tradition.
Jamie Scott, Bob Scott's son said, "It's really humbling. The amount of support we've received through this and through all the other events and things that we've had, really makes us feel good and he made a big difference in a lot of people's lives so we're happy to see that."
The Scott family holds a non-profit charity named after Bob Scott.
The family hopes to host golf tournaments and 5Ks to support other families dealing with the financial troubles of cancer.
