Two Arrested After Drug Bust Friday

The Broome County Special investigations Unit arrests two men after finding drugs during a home search on Friday.

Investigators say 21-year-old Reuben Ogando sold heroin to another person while in the Village of Endicott.

Investigators recovered 41 bags of heroin, suboxone sublingual strips, heroin packaging, a small amount of marijuana and approximately $2,200 in U.S.
currency of suspected drug proceeds.

Ogando was arraigned in the Town of Union Court and faces charges of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance, Criminal possession of a controlled Substance, criminally using drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana.

He was remanded to the Broome County jail without bail.

Richard Kalman, 21, was also arrested, after police say Kalman had an active parole warrant.
