Vestal Coal House Hosts Winter White-Out 5K

Runners braved the sub-zero temps today for the Vestal Coal House's Annual Winter White Out 5K.
The "Late Resolution Run" had an inspirational theme this year.
Participants wore motivational quotes on their T-shirts as they ran.
There were prizes for runners with the best time and also for those with the best quote. But what if some people out there say 'it's just too cold to run'?
Mark Mushalla, Owner of the Vestal Coal House said, "I would say they're wrong. It's not too cold to run. At least that's my view. I'm not a medical professional but I've always felt that it's never really too cold to run. It's just a way for the running community to come out and still run no matter what the weather is."
The next race at the Vestal Coal House will be the "Run with your Hun" 5K race held on Valentines day.
All runners will not be allowed to finish the race until their partner crosses the line with them.
