Police: Man Charged for Damaging Hotel Room

A New Jersey man is in jail after Johnson City police say he trashed his hotel room.

32-year-old Chaz Adams of Hackensack, New Jersey is charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, a felony. Police say the bed in Adams' room at the Red Roof Inn was overturned, and a lamp and TV were broken. According to police, Adams said he was upset about personal issues and broke the items. He was sent to Broome County Jail.
