House of Cards: Season 3 Poster
Had the company decided to quietly release all 13 new episodes early, in stealth mode?
Well, no. As Variety reports, it was a technical error on Netflix's part. The episodes were very quickly pulled down from the site once people started tweeting en masse about the snafu.
Netflix wrote to Variety “Due to a technical glitch some Underwood fans got a sneak peak. He'll be back on Netflix on Feb 27. #no spoilers”
Even House of Cards' official twitter account had a response:
Amazon must be relieved that this wasn't for real since they have their own new original series, Bosch, premiering on their streaming platform on Friday.
