In an age of constant changes with out portable devices, we go through ups and downs with our devices. As companies try to figure out what consumers want, the same goes for consumers. We, as consumers, went through a faze of wanting our phones to be as small and thin as possible. With the popularization of smart phones (thanks to the introduction of the iPhone) the trend changed to not caring too much about the size (key words 'too much') as long as the device is fast and the viewing screen is clear, consumers are happy. As tablets become more and more used as a replacement for the need for laptops on the go, we go into getting a quick, clear, and fast device to have with us. This is where Apple introduced the iPad. Now the original iPad was a bulky heavy device that was not yet the replacement for a laptop. As Apple always seems to do, the next generation was better, lighter, and faster and becoming an acceptable replacement for the laptop. Now we are in the age of the iPad Mini 3, and boy are we in for a surprise as consumers. Here we have a device that is extremely small and powerful, enough to replace our laptops for an average day headed to work. Sounds good to me!
