Jennifer Husko joined NBC 40 in the summer of 2005.
Jennifer received a degree in Broadcasting from Montclair State University, NJ. While at MSU, she interned in the newsroom at \"Inside Edition\" in New York City and could be seen on cable television as on-air talent in over 485,000 homes across northern New Jersey for the university run program, “Carpe Diem” and as anchor for the campus life news show, “Inside MSU”.
After freelancing in New York City during the summer of 2004, Jennifer worked in radio for WBBO, WHTG and WBHX where she was able to meet bands and explore the music industry.
In 2005, Jennifer decided it was time to pursue her career in television and joined the Production team at News Channel 40 NBC, focusing on Chyron Graphics. From there she moved to the NBC 40 News Team as general assignment reporter. She can also be seen each weeknight anchoring NewsChannel 40 NBC at 5.
Jennifer\'s dream has always been to pursue a career in TV news reporting and enjoys meeting new people and learning new things about South Jersey each and every day. She relies on her outgoing personality and passion for current events to tell South Jersey’s story.
Besides her love of the news, this South Jersey resident can be found spending time with friends and family, lying on the beach, shopping or whipping up some type of culinary delight in her kitchen.
