WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- Nearly 1 million roller blinds and Roman shades sold by a number of retailers are being recalled because of their potential to possibly strangle a small child.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says a child's neck can get tangled in the inner cord of the Roman shades, or the exposed loop of the roller blinds.

The agency says it received one report of a child getting tangled in Roman shades sold by Hanover Direct and two reports of children getting tangled in Roman shades sold by Bed Bath & Beyond.

None of the children were seriously hurt.

ENJE has a glued label on the wall fitting showing the IKEA logotype, article number, 5-digit supplier number, four digit date stamp (YYWW) and "Made in Taiwan". The roller blinds have an orange warning label attached at the base of the blind that is marked with AA-136800-3.
